Indiana Farmers Union wants everyone to attend the Indiana Small Farm Conference. In order to increase access to the event, Indiana Farmers Union is hosting a scholarship fund, new to the 2018 conference.

This scholarship fund has been created to encourage attendance by small farmers and ranchers who need financial assistance to attend. We are especially interested in awarding scholarships to applicants who might not otherwise be able to attend. A limited number of scholarships are available for qualified applicants. Scholarship awards will cover a two-day registration for one person for the event, a value of $135.

Scholarship applications are due no later than Jan. 30, 2018, at 12:01 a.m. Applications will be evaluated and applicants will be notified by Feb. 1, 2018, if they are chosen to receive a conference scholarship. Applicants who do not receive a scholarship also will be notified by Feb. 1, 2018, so that they still have time to register for the conference by the Early Bird Registration deadline of Feb. 6, 2018, at 12:01 a.m.

This scholarship fund has been created to encourage attendance by small farmers and ranchers who need financial assistance to attend. We are especially interested in awarding scholarships to applicants who might not otherwise be able to attend. Donations made to the fund must be made in multiples of $135 to fully cover a two-day registration for at least one conference participant.

Fund donations are due no later than Jan. 31, 2018, at 12:01 a.m. All donors will receive a social media “Thank You!” for your scholarship donation, and donor name and color logo will be included in the Indiana Small Farm Conference program booklet. After your donation is made, we will contact you to get a high-resolution logo and desired name for program inclusion.
